Hi! I’ve been practicing Massage Therapy for 12 years, after attending Miller-Motte in Greenville, NC and completing their 1000 hour Massage Therapy program in the spring of 2012. Prior to earning my bodywork license, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in metal design from East Carolina University in 2008.

I’m a native of the Outer Banks, and was excited to return home in 2019 after living in the Greenville, NC area after college. My massage experience has allowed me to work with a wide range of clients through my personal practice, community chair massage events, in conjunction with chiropractic care and physical therapy, and over five years at Refresh-ology Aesthetics and Massage Therapy in Greenville.

My work focuses on helping clients manage acute and chronic pain in the most natural, holistic way possible. Early in my bodywork experience I noticed that many clients were in pain either due to a lack of movement (stiff, weak muscles), or a lack of corrective/restorative movement (overworked, repetitive strain in a specific area.) In order to best serve my clients, I completed Samantha Harrison’s 200 hr Yoga teacher training in Greenville, NC in the spring of 2017. I offer a yoga-based approach to movement for self-care and restoration, based on your individual needs and goals.

While I am always furthering my education in human biomechanics and anatomy, I also believe that true healing occurs on a spiritual (energetic) level, as injury and trauma affect us on both our physical and etheric bodies. I have received the Master-level Usui/Tibetan Reiki Ryoho attunement with Karuna Reiki Master-level practitioner Kara Emmy’, and love that I can offer my clients this gentle energy healing modality through a manual bodywork session, as well as a standalone service.

My bodywork modalities include: deep tissue/therapeutic, myofascial release, prenatal, Ashiatsu barefoot massage, Traditional Thai Yoga, Reiki energy healing, MediCupping, Hot Stone massage, and Swedish (relaxation.) My style draws from a background in Thai (Nuat boran), Esalen, and Fascial Release for structural integration (Anatomy Trains.)

I am also a Level 2 practitioner in Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique ®, or QHHT. This is a powerful modality for both spiritual growth and allieviating physical discomforts in a single session, something that manual bodywork is simply not comparable to in it’s healing scope.
