Hi, I’m Haley!

I’ve been practicing Massage Therapy for over 7 years, after attending Miller-Motte in Greenville, NC and completing their 920 hour Massage Therapy program in the spring of 2012. Prior to earning my bodywork license, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in metal design from East Carolina University in 2008.

I’m a native of the Outer Banks, and excited to return after spending the last 11 years in Greenville, NC. My massage experience has allowed me to work with a wide range of clients through my personal practice, community chair massage events, in conjunction with chiropractic care and physical therapy, and over 5 years at Refresh-ology Aesthetics and Massage Therapy.

My career has always focused on helping clients manage acute and chronic pain in the most natural, holistic way possible. Early in my bodywork experience I noticed that many clients were in pain either due to a lack of movement (stiff, weak muscles), or a lack of corrective/restorative movement (overworked, repetitive strain in a specific area.) In order to best serve my clients, I completed Samantha Harrison’s 200 hr Yoga teacher training in Greenville, NC in the spring of 2017. I offer a yoga-based approach to movement for self-care and restoration, based on your individual needs and goals.

While I am always furthering my education in human biomechanics and anatomy, I also believe that true healing occurs on both a physical and spiritual (energetic) level, as injury and trauma affect us on each, simultaneously. I have received the Advanced Reiki attunement with Karuna Reiki Master level practitioner Kara Emmy’, and love that I can offer my clients this gentle energy healing modality through a manual bodywork session.

My bodywork modalities include: deep tissue/therapeutic, myofascial release, prenatal, Traditional Thai Yoga, Reiki energy healing, Hot Stone massage, and Swedish (relaxation.) My style draws from a background in Thai (Nuat boran), Esalen, and Fascial Release for structural integration (Anatomy Trains.)

MediCupping coming in August 2019!
